A Living History of Army Ground Forces Liaison Aircraft and associated Vehicles and equipment.

Army Wings and Wheels will now be held the first weekend in June each year.

The next event will be held June 5, 6, 7, 2009.

Open to the Public Sat. June 6th and Sun. June 7th 2009.

See events page for details and times.

Join the Piper Cubs, jeeps and other vehicles in celebrating the accomplishments of our veterans.  The two and a half day event will include a veteran Liaison Pilot speaker, as well as flight competitions and aircraft, vehicle and equipment demonstrations and displays.

The purpose of this event is to promote the preservation, restoration and display of  Army Ground Forces combat liaison aircraft and associated vehicles and equipment.

It is dedicated to the men and women who flew, built, serviced and supported these aircraft.  We seek to increase public awareness of the significant contribution made by these aircraft and personnel to the final Allied victory in World War Two and other conflicts.

Again this year we are excited to have WWII reenactment groups participate with us in this event.  The 34th “Red Bull” Division of the Historic Reenactment Society (HRS) is sponsoring Army Wings and Wheels for the reenacting community.

Lunch will be provided to reenactors in uniform or costume, as well as to military vehicle and liaison aircraft owners.

Please feel free to email us pictures of your vehicle, aircraft or reenacting activities to share in our gallery.  Be sure to include a brief description with the photo. (Armyplane@gmail.com
